The Steelers have signed Abdullah Anderson this offseason. He was spent last season with the Vikings and the Bears. He was an Undrafted Free-Agent so he's always been fighting for his spot on those teams.
Abdullah Anderson in his career has had four tackles and a single sack against Teddy Bridgewater. Still, I think he hasn't had many opportunities to really boost his stats. He's only played in 7 NFL Games.
Abdullah might not make this Steelers team, I just want to be realistic here. However, he has the intangibles to make a difference in this league. So, with that being said, I'm glad the Steelers signed this guy and gave him a shot.
If training camp goes well and he makes this team, I think he could potentially provide some good depth behind guys like Heyward and Tuitt. Maybe the Steelers even like him for some nose tackle depth. Our defense is our strength, so any studs we can add to the defense definitely has our stamp of approval.
I definitely wish Abdullah the best. I hope he can have a good chance here in Pittsburgh. Still, he's going to have an uphill battle when training camp comes around. So, we will see what happens in Latrobe.
