For the purpose of this article, I took a look at spotrac.com to figure out how much JuJu Smith-Schuster could be making in the next 4-5 years. I'm hoping that could be in A Steelers uniform, however, there is a strong chance that he gets paid elsewhere.
On the site, they have him marketed at a 5-year deal at $80,000,000 which if you do the math, that averages about $16.1 million per season. In my opinion, that is quite a big number for him. However, I'm hoping the Steelers can find a way to get him to take less.
That is a number, I know personally the Steelers will not be able to meet, however, the issue here is, could that be a number that a team like the Jets will give JuJu? Perhaps. However, hopefully the Steelers can find a way to offer a number close to that to bring JuJu back to Pittsburgh.
