According to Adam Schefter, Steven Nelson has officially been granted permission to seek a trade out of Pittsburgh. This has blindsided Steeler Nation and it will be interesting to see what the Steelers could actually get from a suitor if one is found.
Steven Nelson is one of the best corners in the league statistically in recent years, so it's going to be a big loss to lose such a player.
I think Nelson should be worth AT LEAST a third-round pick. A starting CB at his price and age should be worth quite a bit. So, we'll see what Nelson's team is able to drum up trade-wise and see what value the Steelers can actually get back.
This would free up some cap and it'll be interesting to see what the Steelers are able to do with that said cap space. Perhaps they will be able to bring back JuJu? They could also go after some key Veterans to make this team even better. We will see. Stay tuned everyone, this will continue to develop as we go.
