The Steelers are in quite a tough spot this offseason when it comes to the team's salary cap, and making extremely tough decisions on who to keep, and who to let walk away from the team. JuJu Smith-Schuster has come out many times and said that he wants to stay with the Steelers and the Steelers have come out several times and said they want to keep JuJu with the Steelers. However, today we're going to take a look at the top 3 landing spots for JuJu if he decides to move onto another organization.
Up first we have the New York Giants. The Giants have a desperate need at wide receiver and have plenty of cap space to make a big move in the open market. Combine the need with a perfect player fit in JuJu, and it appears to be a match made in heaven. Add in a relatively young team and a big market atmosphere that JuJu seems to enjoy, the Giants are a very interesting landing spot for JuJu.
Next, we have the Miami Dolphins. A team looking to win now that has a younger NFL roster and plenty of cap room. JuJu and Devante Parker would be an excellent duo in the Miami offense with Tua for many years to come, and there's not a doubt in my mind that JuJu wouldn't enjoy his time in south beach.
Lastly, we have the Las Vegas Raiders. After drafting Henry Ruggs last season to be the take the top off the defense guy and having Hunter Renfrow there to be the underneath guy. Add in JuJu to be the do it all outside receiving threat and that Raiders offense all of a sudden looks a lot better on paper. The Raiders love spending up for top options in free agency and I feel like JuJu is a perfect Jon Gruden type of guy. Vegas is currently the odds on favorite to land JuJu in free agency.
