The Steelers-Browns Wild-Card game was the Most Embarrassing Game in Steelers History

The Steelers losing to the Browns is the most embarrassing game in Steelers franchise history. Even more embarrassing to losing against Tim Tebow in Denver. More than the Jacksonville playoff game. This was the Steeler's worst loss in the History of the Steelers Organization ever.

No one saw this game coming. Who would have predicted the Browns would be winning 28-0 after the first quarter? Especially with the Browns only practicing once during the week. Burdened by issues with Covid-19. Playing without a Head Coach. It just doesn't make sense why the Steelers would play the way they did on Sunday against the Browns.

The Steeler's running game went missing against the Browns. In fact, it was so bad Ben Roethlisberger had to throw the ball 68 times yesterday night. That is not a typo! Ben ended the game with 501 passing yards, 4 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, and a QB rating of 85.5. The Steelers ran for 52 combined rushing yards. That includes James Conner, Benny Snell, and Derek Watt.

Since 2011 the Steelers are 3-6 in the playoffs. The three opposing quarterbacks they beat were A.J. McCarron, Matt Moore, and Alex Smith. That is embarrassing for an organization as Elite as the Pittsburgh Steelers pride themselves to be. Mike Tomlin has only 3 playoff wins in the last 10 years with the Steelers. He has also only made 1 Super Bowl in the past 10 years as well. Tomlin now falls to 8-7 in the playoffs. There are many questions going into the offseason, but one thing for sure is Art Rooney II must sit down with Mike Tomlin and put him in the hot seat. Rooney II needs to set expectations with Mike Tomlin and expect them to get accomplished. He needs to also let Randy Fichtner and Keith Butler go. It is time for the Steelers to get new coordinators. Enough is enough.

The most stunning statistic of the 2020 season comes when the Steelers went 11-0, but then fell 1-5 the rest of the season. Ever since the Steelers played the Ravens in Week 12 the offense has been exposed. Even the Washington Football team warned Mike Tomlin of this in Week 13 and no adjustments were made! So Tomlin and the Steelers made their bed and now they have to lie in it.

The Browns were not the Browns last night. They dismantled a 12-4 Pittsburgh Steelers team who has nine first-round Steelers on defense. If this was their best then it's time to blow it all up. You have a nucleus core around the defense and you can build around it, but the Steelers must admit they need a new offensive line, new quarterback, and new running back. It's time for the Steelers to stop living in a dreamland where they think Ben Roethlisberger can play football for the rest of his life. So please do us all a favor and start the rebuilding process now rather than make us wait longer.
