The National Media continues to disrespect the Undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers may be 10-0, but the Steelers Franchise Quarterback is getting no love from the media. Pro Football Focus currently has Ben ranked as the 22nd quarterback in the NFL. He has 380 attempts, 2,534 passing yards, 24 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. His overall Pro Football Focus grade is 73.3 overall. He is ranked 4th in the NFL in Touchdowns and 24th in the NFL in Interceptions. He is also the only undefeated quarterback currently in the 2020 NFL Season. So why is there no love for Ben Roethlisberger? From Colin Cowherd, all the way to Pro Football Focus the disrespect for the Two-Time Super Bowl Champion has been constant since the beginning of the 2020 Season. Even Chris Simms of NBC Sports said he didn't have Ben in his Top 10 QB's this season. Ryan Tannehill, Joe Burrow, Deshaun Watson were in his Top 10, but no undefeated Ben Roethlisberger. Wild isn't it?

It's not just Ben the National Media has shat all over all season long. ESPN just recently released their Top 10 Rookie's this season and Chase Claypool was nowhere to be found, but we digress on the Steelers disrespect. The Steelers are 10-0 for the first time in Franchise History. The Steelers Defense has been absolutely elite throughout the 2020 season and Ben is playing exceptionally well coming off of major elbow surgery. Not to mention the Steelers went 8-8 without Ben Roethlisberger last season and missed the playoffs. They're almost a lock to win the AFC North this season and get into the playoffs. Yes, there still is football to be played, but the National Media should be ashamed of themselves after their assessments coming into this season in regards to the 2020 Pittsburgh Steelers.

For some reason, Ben Roethlisberger is always to blame when it comes to the National Media. Let me remind you of a time when he was to blame for the Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell fiasco in Pittsburgh. It seems to be always Ben Roethlisberger's fault, but here we are sitting here at this moment watching Ben Roethlisberger lead his team to an undefeated season. Dan Graziano of ESPN said the Steelers should release Ben Roethlisberger next season because he will be a cap casualty. Although Ben restructures his contract almost every single year to give the Steelers extra cap. We can keep going on and on about the disrespect the Steelers continue to get, but the truth is they're undefeated and could end up in the big game this season if they get through teams like the Kansas City Chiefs which the Raiders have given a hard time. Their defense in Kansas City isn't anywhere close to Pittsburgh's either. So there is more football to be played and the best revenge the Pittsburgh Steelers can do is to keep on winning. Then get into the Playoffs and win the Super Bowl. That would silence the haters and show the National Media are a bunch of frauds. Regardless of the outcome, the Steelers have had a historic 2020 season and it will be one we won't ever forget. Enjoy the ride Yinz.
