On Monday, it was revealed that the Steelers didn't renew the contract of backup quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges. It didn't take Duck a long time to find a new home, however, as he announced on Twitter today that he signed a futures contract with the Rams.

Hodges was 3-3 as a starter in 2019, completing 62.5% of his passes for 1,063 yards, five touchdowns, eight interceptions and had a quarterback rating of 71.4. Hodges was on the practice squad in 2020 and wasn't active for any games.

The Rams have two quarterbacks currently on their roster in Jared Goff and John Wolford. Along with Hodges, they also signed quarterback Bryce Perkins to a futures contract. As of now, Hodges will have a chance to compete for the No. 3 quarterback spot in Los Angeles.
