Stephon Tuitt has quietly had a monster 2020 season. We say quietly because no one is even recognizing how great he has been for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tuitt even got snubbed from the Pro Bowl this season as well. Despite having a torn pec during Week 6 he has posted some great numbers when coming back to the Steelers. Tuitt was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week against the Ravens in Week 8 posting 2 sacks, 9 tackles, and 3 quarterback hits. Tuitt is such an underrated player in the NFL. He deserves more credit than he gets.
On Sunday against the Colts, he finally added another sack which put him over double-digits in sacks this season. This is the first time in his career Tuitt has recorded double-digit sacks in a single season. He is currently sitting at 10 sacks and the second leading player on the Steelers in sacks this season. He has been battling a back injury as of late, but that didn't look to be the case against the Colts on Sunday. He looked great and we look forward to watching the Steeler's Elite Defensive line take their talents into the playoffs soon. Hopefully, they can get the job done.
