Stephen A. Smith takes his shot at Las Vegas for saying the Steelers will only win 9 games in 2021

Las Vegas is not confident in the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into the 2021 season. In 2020 they weren't very confident either, but this season they feel the Steelers will only win 9 games in 2021. There is a good possibility the Steelers could struggle in 2021 because they have one of the toughest schedules and have lost some key players in the 2021 offseason. It should be noted the Steelers always have found a way to have a winning season when Mike Tomlin is the Head Coach. The Steelers organization has not had a losing regular season since Mike Tomlin has been the Coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but could they finally have one in 2021?

Stephen A. Smith doesn't think Las Vegas is being fair to the 2021 Pittsburgh Steelers. Smith says for a team that went 12-4 in 2020 how could the Steelers win 3 fewer games while playing 1 extra game? He recognized the Steelers did struggle down the stretch in 2020, but how is the team that is ranked as the 3rd best defense going to go 9-8?

The Steelers are getting back future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger. People continue to kick dirt on Ben's career, but he still managed to put up 33 touchdowns in 2020 coming off of a restructured elbow. Not only that but Ben Roethlisberger has one of the best wide receiver corps in the NFL. Smith says he saw Chase Claypool sitting at a restaurant the other day and he is an absolute specimen.

Stephen A. also mentions we all know the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to get a great running back in the 2021 NFL draft too. Mike Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the NFL. Smith says Las Vegas needs to give him a damn break while saying 9 wins several times. He says you can underestimate the Pittsburgh Steelers all you want, but the organization is going to make a lot of money off of a projection of 9 wins in Las Vegas. Smith ended his segment by saying Sports Books are going to lose a lot of money against the 2021 Steelers.
