The Steelers announced their training camp schedule on Thursday and it will consist of 12 open practices at Heinz Field. There is no charge to attend practice and seats will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, fans must have a mobile ticket to enter.

Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to reserve tickets beginning on Friday, July 9 at 10 a.m. and the remainder of the tickets will be available beginning on Saturday, July 10 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.

The first open practice at Heinz Field will be on Wednesday, July 28 and it will be the first time the team practices in pads. The final practice open to fans will be on Wednesday, Aug. 18. All of the team’s open practices will begin at 1:30 p.m. except the final two on Aug. 17 and 18, which will start at 12:15 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively. The Steelers will have a few closed practices prior to their first padded practice on July 28.

The Steelers' first preseason game is on Aug. 5 in Canton, Ohio, in the Hall of Fame Game against the Cowboys.

The Steelers announced last month that their plan to have training camp at Saint Vincent College was denied by the NFL/NFLPA due to the league's COVID-19 protocols. The Steelers have held their training camp at Saint Vincent College every year since 1966 prior to these last two years due to the pandemic and will have training camp at Heinz Field for the second consecutive year, along with holding practices at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
