This morning the NFL has made the news we all were dreading official. They're rescheduling the Steelers vs Titans week 4 matchup after more staff and a player tested positive for Covid-19. In fact, 11 total have tested positive in the Titans organization. It is still unclear how the NFL will handle this situation, but they did send out a statement this morning.
The Pittsburgh-Tennessee game scheduled for Week 4 will be rescheduled to later this season after one additional Titans player and one personnel member tested positive for COVID-19 today. An announcement of the new game date will be made shortly. The decision to postpone the game was made to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches, and game day personnel. The Titans facility will remain closed and the team will continue to have no in-person activities until further notice.
Hopefully, they make a fair change for both teams and figure this out quickly because this is beyond frustrating. The Titans should have to answer how they got themselves in this situation because the NFL has set protocols in dealing with Covid-19. Stay tuned to find out what the NFL's decision will be.
