The Steelers had their first practice of the week today at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side in preparation for their game against the Titans on Sunday in Nashville. Diontae Johnson (back) was a full participant and David DeCastro (abdominal) was limited, both Johnson and DeCastro were out for this past Sunday's game against the Browns.
Derek Watt didn't practice on Wednesday and is still dealing with issues from the hamstring injury that he suffered against the Texans in Week 3. Watt did not play against the Eagles in Week 5, but he was active against the Browns on Sunday. Mike Hilton also did not practice today as he's dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered against Cleveland. Maurkice Pouncey (foot) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) both sat out of practice today. Ben Roethlisberger and Stephon Tuitt had a vets day off and did not practice as well.
Stefen Wisniewski is still on the reserve/injured list with a pectoral injury that he suffered in Week 1 against the Giants, but he started to practice last Wednesday. The Steelers have 21 days from that point to activate him to the 53-man roster. If they do not activate him, he would remain on the reserve/injured list for the rest of the season.
