With rookie minicamp starting tomorrow, the Steelers announced the jersey numbers for the whole roster, which was highlighted by the numbers for the drafted rookies.
It was previously announced that running back Najee Harris would wear No. 22 with the Steelers, which was also his number at Alabama. But we now know that center Kendrick Green will wear No. 53, which was formerly Maurkice Pouncey's number. Talk about big shoes to fill. Green also wore No. 53 at Illinois.
For the rest of the Steelers' rookie class -- tight end Pat Freiermuth will wear No. 88, offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr. will wear No. 65, inside linebacker Buddy Johnson will wear No. 51 (a number that was once donned by inside linebacker James Farrior), defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk will wear No. 92, outside linebacker Quincy Roche will wear No. 48, which was formerly worn by Bud Dupree, safety/cornerback Tre Norwood will wear No. 21 and punter Pressley Harvin III will wear No. 6.
