Steelers LB Coach Jerry Olsavsky is meeting with LB Nick Bolton's family and agent in Missouri today

Vince Williams was recently released by the Pittsburgh Steelers and they look to be thin heading into the 2021 season at the Linebacker position. They do have Robert Spillane who showed he can play great at the Linebacker position, but he didn't show up during the Cleveland Playoff game. Who really showed up to that awful playoff game to be honest?

Steelers Linebacker Coach Jerry Olsavsky is in Missouri today visiting with Linebacker Nick Bolton's family and agent Tommy Condon. Bolton is going to be running through the linebacker drills today. The Steelers love their linebackers and it would not surprise me if they drafted a linebacker to place next to Devin Bush in the 2021 NFL season besides Robert Spillane.

Nick Bolton was one of the most productive linebackers in the SEC. He is starting to get a lot of attention from scouts and is becoming one of the top prospects at the linebacker position going into the 2021 NFL draft. Bolton is a leader on the football field as well as off of the football field. Teams tend to love his attitude and he is loved in the locker room. He finished the 2020 season with 53 solo tackles, 42 assists, and 2 sacks, but Missouri only played 10 games due to Covid-19. In 2019 Bolton finished the season with 74 solo tackles, 29 assists, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions.

"It’s hard to evaluate just exactly how much the NFL will value Nick Bolton. You can find draft analysts that view him as the second-best linebacker in the class, while others have him closer to LB10 than LB1. However, the NFL will recognize his blend of strong athletic ability and an elite football IQ. As a result, someone will take him with the intent to be the MIKE of their defense. Teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and Kansas City Chiefs all make a lot of sense."
