Steelers-Jaguars injury report

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

The Steelers had their final practice of the week at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side in preparation for their game against the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Sunday.

Mike Hilton was a full participant in practice for the third consecutive day after missing the last four games with a shoulder injury and isn't on the status report, so it looks like Hilton will be good to go for Sunday.

Jaylen Samuels (quad) and Trey Edmunds (hamstring) didn't practice for the third straight day and have been ruled out. Both were injured against the Bengals this past Sunday. Jayrone Elliott also didn't practice for a third day due to an illness and has been ruled out.

Anthony McFarland (illness) and Isaiah Buggs (ankle) practiced for the third consecutive day after being out for the game against the Bengals and are not on the status report.

For the Jaguars, they placed starting rookie cornerback C.J. Henderson on injured reserve yesterday. Today, they ruled starting wide receiver Laviska Shenault (hamstring) and tight end James O'Shaughnessy (knee) out for Sunday's game. Cornerback Sidney Jones IV (Achilles) and wide receiver Collin Johnson (hamstring) are listed as questionable. Quarterback Gardner Minshew III (right thumb) is also listed as questionable, but Jake Luton will get the start at quarterback on Sunday.
