Steelers-Jaguars injury report

Chris Ward

Updated: Nov 19, 2020

The Steelers had their first practice of the week today at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side in preparation for their game against the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Sunday.

Mike Hilton was a full participant at practice today after missing the last four games. Jaylen Samuels (quad) and Trey Edmunds (hamstring) didn't practice on Wednesday. Both were injured against the Bengals this past Sunday.

Jayrone Elliott also didn't practice because of an illness. Anthony McFarland (illness) and defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs (ankle) returned to practice in a full capacity after missing time last week and were inactive against the Bengals.

Ben Roethlisberger had his normal Wednesday day off. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Alejandro Villanueva, David DeCastro, Maurkice Pouncey and Stephon Tuitt also had a veteran's day off.

Chris Wormley practiced on Wednesday but he is still on the reserve/injured list.

The Steelers have a 21-day window to activate Wormley to the 53-man roster. If he isn't activated during that period he will remain on the reserve/injured list for the season.

Wormley was placed on the list on Oct. 31 after suffering a knee injury against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.
