Steelers have signed Defensive End Abdullah Anderson

The Pittsburgh Steelers' offseason signings have continued today. The organization has signed former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Abdullah Anderson to a contract. Anderson was an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears in the 2018 NFL draft. He spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons on the Bears practice squad.

Abdullah was promoted to the Bears starting lineup in 2019 and had four tackles and one sack. In 2020 Abdullah spent most of his time with the Minnesota Vikings practice squad and was activated for only one game in the 2020 season. Abdullah seems to be quite the traveling man who now lands on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Expect the Pittsburgh Steelers to continue signing more free agents especially after the 2021 NFL draft because they have many holes to fill after losing key players in the 2021 offseason.
