The Steelers had their final practice of the week on the South Side today in preparation for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Derek Watt (hamstring) and Marcus Allen (foot) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Sunday's game against Philadelphia.
T.J. Watt (knee) was unexpectedly on the injury report on Thursday but was a full participant at practice on Friday and said he's ready to go for Sunday.
"I feel great," Watt said. "I practiced well today, flying around. I'll be ready to go for Sunday, no doubt."
Watt, who leads the Steelers in sacks with 3.5 will be going up against three-time Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson on Sunday. A matchup that Watt looks forward to.
“I’m a competitor,” Watt said. “I love going up against the best players in the National Football League. That’s why I’m here. I feel very confident in my capabilities. I’ve been able to see him at the Pro Bowl the last few years. He’s a big guy, and he has great technique.”
