Steelers-Eagles injury report

The Steelers were back practicing today on the South Side for the second time this week in preparation for their game on Sunday against the Eagles. Ben Roethlisberger, Maurkice Pouncey and Stephon Tuitt were back at practice after having veteran days off yesterday and Joe Haden returned after dealing with an illness.

All-Pro outside linebacker T.J. Watt was added to the injury report with a knee injury and did not practice today. According to Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports, Watt's knee injury won't affect his status for Sunday's game and is expected to play. Watt's brother, Derek, also did not practice due to a hamstring injury and Marcus Allen was out with a foot injury, both missing their second consecutive practice this week.

Two of the Steelers' top wide receivers -- JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Diontae Johnson (toe) were back on the field after missing Wednesday's practice.

"Having Diontae out there, he makes splash plays, and that is something he has always been doing," Smith-Schuster said. "Even when he wasn't out there, we have guys who can fill those spots. James Washington can play X and he got the job done and did what we needed to win our game. We got guys who can play."
