Steelers-Eagles injury report

The Steelers were back practicing on the South Side today after having their bye week and now turn their attention to the Eagles in preparation for their game on Sunday.

Derek Watt (hamstring) and Marcus Allen (foot) were two players that Mike Tomlin mentioned in his weekly press conference to watch for in their participation this week and both did not practice today.

"Derek Watt has been running some," Tomlin said. "We'll see if he can do the unanticipated movement that encompasses football play, and if he can we'll let that be our guide about potentially including him. Marcus Allen, the same thing with his foot injury. He ran in the pool (Tuesday), and he'll have the opportunity to run on land I'm sure in the upcoming days, and we'll see where that leads us."

Tomlin also said yesterday that Dionate Johnson is out of the concussion protocol, but Johnson did not practice today as he's dealing with a toe injury that's plagued him all season. JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) was also out due to an injury and Joe Haden was out with an illness. Ben Roethlisberger, Maurkice Pouncey and Stephon Tuitt all had the day off and were classified as a coach's decision.
