The Steelers had their first practice of the week today at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side in preparation for their game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Tight end Eric Ebron suffered a back injury against the Cincinnati Bengals and did not practice today. Inside linebackers Marcus Allen (stinger) and Ulysees Gilbert III (ankle) also did not practice, along with outside linebacker Ola Adeniyi (shoulder) and defensive end Stephon Tuitt (back).
The Steelers did get some good news on the injury front, however, as running back James Conner (quadriceps) was a full participant at practice after being out for the game against the Bengals on Monday night. Fullback Derek Watt, who suffered a concussion on a punt return early in the first quarter against the Bengals, was also a full participant, along with offensive lineman Kevin Dotson (shoulder). Dotson suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14 and did not play on Monday night.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, center Maurkice Pouncey and guard David DeCastro all had a veteran's day off.
Earlier today, Vince Williams was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Williams missed the last two games against Buffalo and Cincinnati.
