The Steelers are bringing in FA Jordan Berry for a visit. This is necessary after a shaky start in the Dustin Colquitt experiment in Pittsburgh. He hasn’t been very consistent. He has had a tremendous career. However, this year he has averaged 43.8 yards per punt.
This move is sort of questionable. Considering, Jordan Berry isn’t any better than him. On Jordan Berry’s 328 career punts he has an average of 44.2. Berry knows the system though. He has been a Steeler since 2015 up until this year.
If they are bringing in Jordan Berry, expect some sort of competition to ensue and we might see Jordan Berry on the field come this Sunday against the Titans where we need to have a good punt game in order to possibly beat this loaded Titans team.
Steelers fans haven’t had to worry about punting as much this year due to the performance of the offense but last year this quite a problem for us because of how many times we punted in Big Ben’s absence.
