The Steelers were back at practice today at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side in preparation for their game on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills.
Cornerback Joe Haden (concussion) and inside linebacker Robert Spillane (knee) both did not practice for the second consecutive day. Haden suffered a concussion in the game against the Washington Football Team on Monday and is in the concussion protocol. Spillane also suffered his knee injury against Washington.
Wide receiver Chase Claypool (illness) was added to the injury report on Thursday and did not practice as well.
Kicker Chris Boswell (hip) did not play against Washington and returned to practice on Thursday, as did defensive lineman Chris Wormley (illness).
Cornerback Steven Nelson was a full participant for the second straight day after being out for the game against Washington. Nelson injured his knee in the game against the Baltimore Ravens the week prior.
The Steelers announced today that they've placed inside linebacker Vince Williams on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
