The Steelers got a much-needed win over the Broncos on Sunday and could find themselves at 3-3 heading into their bye week if they can defeat the Russell Wilson-less Seahawks on Sunday Night Football at Heinz Field. With Wilson out due to a broken finger and veteran backup quarterback Geno Smith filling in, the odds of a Steelers win are much greater. However, Smith did perform well when he replaced Wilson last Thursday night against the Rams.
According to Oddsshark.com, the Steelers are 5-point favorites against the Seahawks and the over/under is 42.5 points. The Seahawks opened as 2.5-point road favorites on the look-ahead line
The Seahawks are 8-4 against the spread in their last 12 games against the Steelers and the total has gone under in six of Seattle's last seven games on the road.
Seattle is 34-10-1 straight up in its last 45 prime-time games and Pittsburgh is 1-8 against the spread in its last nine Sunday Night Football games. Seattle is also 12-5 against the spread in its last 17 games as an underdog.
The Steelers are 9-10 all-time against the Seahawks.
