The Senior Bowl is taking place this week in Mobile Ala., and the Steelers have a heavy presence. Mike Tomlin, Kevin Colbert, Matt Canada, quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan, several Steelers scouts and even team president Art Rooney II are reportedly in Mobile.

It's still very early in the process, but it appears that the Steelers are intrigued by Liberty quarterback Malik Willis.

According to Alan Saunders of Steelers Now, Tomlin, Kevin Colbert and Matt Canada had a lengthy talk with Willis' parents after Tuesday's practice.

Below is a picture of Tomlin, Colbert and Canada talking with Willis via Mark Kaboly of The Athletic.

Nick Farabaugh of Steelers Now reported that Willis had an inconsistent day, but had a "wow throw" to the corner of the end zone to Danny Gray. Farabaugh mentioned that Tomlin looked right to Sullivan after the throw.

Inconsistency is the main thing with Willis, as he shows flashes as a great passer, and at other times he doesn't. There are also some questions about the level he played at in college, as it was a non-Power Five school. Willis is a dynamic player, however, who can extend plays and make plays with his legs. Which is exactly what Tomlin and the Steelers are looking for. Quarterback mobility is a must-have in today's league.
