The Steelers win their Week 3 Matchup with the Texans moving to 3-0. It feels good to be 3-0 for the first time in a while. Some people who definitely feel really good after the game is that Running Back room.

James Conner shined today with a great stat line with 109 yards rushing on 18 carries with an average of 6 yards per carry capping off his performance with a touchdown.

Benny Snell didn’t have a great day, he had 7 carries for 11 yards and he had his chance to get a touchdown and he didn’t take advantage of that opportunity with him being stuffed at the goal line.

One of the most interesting developments we got from this game is what we saw out of Anthony McFarland Jr. He had 6 carries for 42 yards with an average of 7 yards per carry. He also added a reception for 7 yards. It will be interesting to see if the Steelers continue to use him in the game plan. Seeing McFarland’s natural talent finally on display made this game very exciting.

Conner deserves the praise today. He got the yards when the Steelers needed it most once again. The Steelers offense revolves around those guys. When they play well, it makes it so much easier on Big Ben and those Wide Receivers.
