This weeks MVP for Renegade Blitz is James Conner. He rushed 20 times for 101 yards and a Touchdown. He averaged 5.1 yards per carry. Conner has had a fairly shaky season but when he plays well, the Steelers usually win with ease.
He has a few issues, he needs to be himself, not Le'Veon Bell. He needs to be that power-back/one-cut back that he was in Pitt and fight for those yards after contact. I understand he needs to protect the ball, however, sometimes it's nice to see Conner get those big chunk plays like he did today.
Most people wouldn't predict Conner to have a big game against this tough Browns defensive unit. He exceeded expectations and had a big part in the Steelers win. I expect him to do decent against the Titans. He just needs to hit the holes and fight for that extra yardage and also continue to be the rock on this Steelers offense.
Honorable Mentions is Big Ben, he had a perfect day after a shaky first few possessions. Another honorable mention is Minkah Fitzpatrick who had a pick-six off Baker Mayfield in the first quarter to give the Steelers a 10-0 lead. The pick-six really set the tone for the game.
