It's almost that time for Fifth-Year options to be exercised for Terrell Edmunds and Minkah Fitzpatrick. These guys are definitely an above average duo for the Steelers. So, it would make sense for the Steelers to plan on keeping these two around for another year.
Minkah Fitzpatrick's price would end up being around $10 million. This is mainly because he was selected to two Pro Bowls so that inflates his value a little more than Edmunds who's value sits at just above $6 million.
Next year, the Steelers should have much more cap room and I believe they will make the decision to keep the secondary elite and lock up these two together. Minkah speaks for himself, however, I think Terrell also has some potential to be pop off and make an impact just as Bud Dupree did in his final years in Pittsburgh.
