Throughout the NFL offseason, you will see NFL players post who they're training with. In 2021 Claypool has been very active on social media, but it is not what you think. So before the media goes looking for a new Tik Tok Video by Chase Claypool that is not what I am talking about. What I am talking about is in regards to posting his 2021 offseason football workouts. In 2021 Claypool has been traveling all over the place looking to train with some NFL talent. That is a great idea because now Claypool can get some perspective outside of his 'Steeler Bubble.'
It shows Claypool is being humble while going out and training because after all, he would like to become a star in Pittsburgh and if he continues to have seasons as he did during his rookie season then he is on a good pace. It looks like Claypool has been training with Mason Rudolph in California. That is interesting because if Ben Roethlisberger does end up going down in 2021 Mason Rudolph will end up taking over so it seems they could just be getting a head start on the 2021 season by working together. Let's knock on wood and hope Ben Roethlisberger stays upright for the entire 2021 season.
Michael Pittman Jr and Chase Claypool seem to have a special relationship. Both have been training together in California as well. They have both even played one-on-one against each other at times which is weird to see Claypool trying to play the cornerback position against Michael Pittman Jr. Claypool was also seen running many routes and catching footballs from Mason Rudolph. It looks like all three are building up a good rapport together and are putting in some serious work in the offseason.
