JuJu Smith-Schuster and Antonio Brown didn't end on good terms in Pittsburgh, as Brown was jealous that Smith-Schuster won Team MVP in 2018. Brown ultimately burned every bridge imaginable with the Steelers and was traded in March of 2019.
He continued to take shots at Smith-Schuster on social media after he left Pittsburgh, however. Brown said Smith-Schuster fumbled the season away by having a costly fumble against the Saints in Week 16 of the 2018 season. The Steelers ended up not making the playoffs because of the loss to New Orleans.
And how can you forget Brown's infamous "Boo Boo Shoester" tweet after the 2019 season? Criticizing Smith-Schuster for his down year.
For the most part, Smith-Schuster ignored the jabs, but deep down inside it had to hurt that a once friend and teammate just out of the blue started to dislike him.
Smith-Schuster was recently on boxer Ryan Garcia's "Fierce Talk" podcast to discuss NFL free agency, Corvette Corvette on team logos, and the Browns being the Browns.
Garcia also asked Smith-Schuster if he could call out anyone for a boxing match, who would it be? And surprisingly, Smith-Schuster said he would like to fight Brown. And it's not the first time that he's talked about it.
"We talked about this multiple times, I'd definitely call out AB," Smith-Schuster said and then laughed.
I'm sure Smith was just having fun on a podcast. But it is interesting that he mentioned Brown's name when asked if he could box anyone. Being that AB has upset a lot of people over the years, I'm sure Smith-Schuster isn't the only one that wants to box him.
Below is the video of Smith-Schuster calling out Brown.
