JuJu Smith-Schuster may have played his last downs in Pittsburgh after being eliminated by the Cleveland Browns during Wild-Card Weekend. That is sad to hear because JuJu has been an integral part of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also built his brand in Pittsburgh too. Unfortunately, it sounds like JuJu could be gone this season. He has made it very loud and clear he loves playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He said he would like to retire a Pittsburgh Steeler. The only problem is the Steelers do not have the cap room to pay him a big contract like other teams can pay him.
Zach Banner recently took to Twitter saying he is locking down his social media until his contract gets signed. Banner screenshot his tweet and posted it on Instagram. Under Banner's Instagram post JuJu left a message saying "I wish I can get one." That confirms the Steelers have not been in contact with JuJu yet or they have and it doesn't sound like the news JuJu wants to hear. The Steelers have until March 17th to lock JuJu up or he will become an unrestricted free agent and can sign with any team he wants to. It's very clear JuJu wants to stay with the Pittsburgh Steelers but is realizing the reality of the situation.
