The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially signed a fourth quarterback to their 2021 roster. As we stand now the Steelers have Ben Roethlisberger, Mason Rudolph, Dwayne Haskins, and Josh Dobbs as their quarterbacks. It looks like they will walk into training camp and have Rudolph, Haskins, and Dobbs compete for the backup quarterback position in Pittsburgh. They do not need 4 quarterbacks and if the Steelers end up drafting a quarterback in the 2021 NFL draft they will end up with 5 quarterbacks going into training camp.
All 4 of their current quarterbacks are on one-year deals and after 2021 they will not have a quarterback under contract unless they draft one or re-sign a quarterback to a longer-term deal down the road. With that being said Josh Dobbs has officially signed his one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He took to Twitter and said "Official Pen to Paper. Five for #5."
Welcome back to Pittsburgh Josh Dobbs!
