TJ Watt won the AFC Defensive Player for the month of November. He had 18 tackles, 13 solo tackles, and five and a half sacks with 17 QB hits in the month. Last season he was snubbed to be the Defensive Player of the Year because Stephon Gilmore was voted higher than him. That was just pure highway robbery last season. This season TJ Watt is clearly on path to be nominated for the Defensive Player of the Year award again. If he can stay healthy for the remainder of the season he should have no issue finally getting the Defensive Player of the Year Award. This morning Joe Haden threw his opinion into who should be the Defensive Player of the Year and he said TJ Watt should get it by tweeting out in all caps 'DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!!!!.'
