Najee Harris should fit in very nicely. I’m hoping he will be an every-down back. The Steelers have been missing that piece on their team so I’m pretty excited to see how it ends up looking come the regular season.
James Conner, Benny Snell, and Anthony McFarland just couldn’t get it going last season. This isn’t all on them though, part of that had to do with the Steelers' offensive line woes.
In the 2021 NFL Draft, the Steelers selected Pat Freiermuth TE, Kendrick Green G, and Dan Moore OT. In addition to Free Agency, the Steelers have successfully addressed the Offensive Line position on the team. They can perhaps make some more moves in Free Agency if they need.
Another move the Steelers could make is to bring in another Veteran Running Back that could improve the Steelers run game to bring in Adrian Peterson who spent the offseason training with Najee. They could have a powerful tandem.
Then again, Benny Snell and Najee Harris could also do quite well together. Either way, I just don’t want to run Najee Harris into the dirt. I think a tandem type situation would help immensely. Still, Najee needs to be the focal point in our offense.
