Happy Birthday to Hall of Fame Coach Bill Cowher

Today is May 8th, it's Bill Cowher's 64th Birthday. He is a Steelers Legend who now spends his time on CBS. He is very much still involved in the city of Pittsburgh and also heavily involved in the game of football.

In his Steelers career, he had a win-loss regular-season record of 149-90-1 (.623). He was a very successful Head Coach in the NFL. He ended up preceding another Steelers Legend Chuck Noll. It is cool to also see how similar Chuck Noll's W/L record and Cowher's records look. Chuck Noll's win-loss record was 209–156–1. The Steelers have certainly followed suit with Tomlin and his resume speaks for himself.

Bill Cowher finally caught his elusive Super Bowl Victory. That victory was caught in Detriot. In which he took that 05' Steelers team to the dance. He took a 2nd Year Quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger and seasoned veteran in Jerome Bettis to the Steelers fifth Super Bowl Victory.

Shortly after that, he walked away from coaching for good. He ended up signing for CBS where has been ever since. He is an analyst on NFL Today and it's great to see him always sticking up for the Steelers.

Happy Birthday, Bill! We here at Renegade Blitz hope you have a great day and can't wait to see you on NFL Today before some Steelers games on Sundays before their matchups.
