Much of the media has not been a fan of Ben Roethlisberger this season. CBS Radio Host Zach Gelb told Ben to stop bitching and complaining, Colin Cowherd thinks the Steelers will be a 7-9 team this season, and Pro Football Focus has him ranked 21st out of 34 quarterbacks in the NFL. It's time to put some respect on the Two-Time Super Bowl Champion and Future Hall of Fame quarterback.
“Big Ben is gonna complain, ‘I didn’t get my bye week when it was supposed to be, so now my bye week happened in Week 4. Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo. Aw, stop it, Big Ben! Enough of him. You have people who actually have real-life issues this year. People losing jobs, people losing loved ones. People are getting diagnosed with this virus and testing positive. And I have to hear Big Ben, ‘We got the short-end of the stick. Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo."
Zach Gelb is a complete idiot who thinks he can say this type of stuff so he can make a name for himself. They all do it. Then we have Colin Cowherd who hates on the Steelers all the time and said they are going to go 7-9.
"I have the Steelers at 7-9. I no longer think of them as a great organization... Big Ben has become more legacy than legend."
Here we go by saying outlandish things to get more ratings. Hey, whatever makes you sleep comfortably at night. Even prominent media members who are on television have reached out to us and said don't pay attention to them they are known to do that. Well here is my one and the only article to bash them because Ben Roethlisberger has completed 100x more than they ever will.
Ben Roethlisberger is 3-0 right now and should be 4-0 after the Titans debacle. The Steelers have only started 3-0 twice in Mike Tomlin's career. Their defense is loaded and their offense seems much better than last seasons. If Ben can stay upright he will be right there with the Ravens and Chiefs competing for his 3rd Super Bowl Championship. He has been in the NFL for 17 seasons and has been the quarterback for most of those seasons with the Steelers. These radio shock jocks could only dream about being with the same company for 17 years. They come and go.
It's way overdue for Ben Roethlisberger to get his 3rd Lombardi and the 7th Championship to the City of Pittsburgh. So here is to hoping the Steelers destroy the Eagles this weekend so Zach Gelb and Colin Cowherd can crawl back into their cave.
