The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to revamp the running game in Pittsburgh in 2021. Art Rooney II was disappointed that they finished last in the running game in 2021. The Steelers got away from what they do best which is running the football up the gut. Power running football must return to Pittsburgh in 2021. They will have options to fix it in the NFL Draft this year and let's hope they make the right decisions.... *Cough* Najee Harris and then Offensive Line *Cough.*
ESPN Report Devon Demovsky has predicted the Steelers will land Aaron Jones in the offseason. He says there is much to be settling in Pittsburgh with their offense including Ben Roethlisberger. Demovsky says if they add a game-changing running back like Jones things could become steady in Pittsburgh. He acknowledges the Steelers aren't typically big players in free agency, but they can make it work if they want it to. The Packers aren't going to pay guaranteed money to Aaron Jones in the offseason so it's hard to imagine the Jones agent Drew Rosenhaus let him play under the franchise tag without promising long-term security.
