Eagles LT Jason Peters is being placed on Injured Reserve after an MRI revealed a toe injury that will take several weeks to heal. Another major blow to the Philly offensive line according to Ian Rapoport. The Eagles will miss Peters badly because their team needs all the offensive help they can get. Three of the Eagles top wide receivers are out or unable to play against the 49ers today. They're back in the same situation they were in last season. Their offensive line is hurting as well.
According to PFF the Eagles projected starting line up would look like:
Projected Eagles starting OL:
LT - Jordan Mailata (68.9 PFF grade)
LG - Nate Herbig (71.3)
C - Jason Kelce (69.1)
RG - Matt Pryor (67.1)
RT - Lane Johnson (73.8)
Those PFF numbers don't look too well considering the Eagles will be playing against the top defensive line in the NFL. Steelers Cam Heyward, Stephon Tuitt, TJ Watt, and Bud Dupree should be feasting like a Thanksgiving Dinner come Week 5 against the Eagles.
