It's time for Yinz to respect Mike Tomlin
Mike Tomlin more than deserves our respect. Over the years, Steelers fans routinely call for Tomlin to be fired. However, Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and he’s not looking to have one any time soon.
If you look around the league you see other coaches such as Adam Gase, who is on pace for an 0-16 season. The Steelers are possibly looking to be 16-0, so Mike Tomlin has cemented himself as one of the top coaches in the league.
Even without Big Ben, Mike Tomlin still was able to not give up on the season and claw their way to 8-8. A modest record on a lost season without your starting quarterback. However, with Big Ben back the Steelers are playing next level Football and they are looking to go 10-0 against the Jaguars and a lot of that is because of the growth of Coach Tomlin as a coach.
Think about all the great players he’s had before Brown, Bell and more. Most of those players never got us to the next level. Now, Tomlin has a team first mentality and it’s very clear that this team is different those of the past.
