Devin Bush has become one of the best follows on Twitter in recent weeks. It seems the young linebacker is walking into the 2021 season with a chip on his shoulder after he went down with an ACL tear in 2020. Most athletes would be concerned about that type of injury, but it seems like Devin Bush is in good spirits and ready to get back onto the football field with the Steelers.
The Steelers have dealt with some issues over the past few seasons involving JuJu Smith-Schuster and Chase Claypool around social media platform Tik Tok. Some owners around the league felt JuJu Smith-Schuster's Tik Tok was immature and they did not like him dancing on their opponent's logos. I personally think it was way blown out of proportion and the NFL players are free to use Social Media how they want to as long as they don't do anything illegal. I mean JuJu Smith-Schuster could be throwing furniture over a balcony like a mad man instead of dancing on social media...
Devin Bush has been pretty hilarious over the course of the last few weeks on social media. Although it is funny I am not sure if the Steelers will take lightly to some of his comments even though I do not find any of them offensive whatsoever, but that is just the type of world we live in nowadays where everyone gets offended by every single thing. Bush did put out an interesting tweet today that said, "If you a grown man and you got Tik Tok on yo phone stay TF from around me."
That tweet will turn heads throughout the NFL world, but I don't think it was a direct shot at his teammates. I think he is saying in general that he does not want to be caught up in all of the Tik Tok business. I am sure some of the media will turn it into something it is not, but I still think it was a hilarious tweet. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if Devin Bush doesn't want Tik Tok around him then that is his wish. Respect the man's privacy! Bush certainly loves Twitter though!
Chase Claypool has recently responded to Devin Bush's tweet about Tik Tok. It is unclear if they're just joking around, but is Tik Tok really that serious? I would say no.
