Devin Bush suffered a season-ending ACL tear against the Browns on Oct. 18, and he's currently on the right track to return for the 2021 season almost four months after suffering his injury.
During a Steelers Nation Unite Huddle conference call with fans today, Bush was asked about his recovery and said "he's on schedule" with his rehab and is trying to get ready for this upcoming season, "especially camp."
“Rehab is going good,” Bush said. “I’m on schedule. I’m feeling stronger week by week. I’m just trying to get ready physically for next year, especially for camp. I’m just staying positive about things and doing everything I can do possible to make myself one of the best players next year.”
On Tuesday, Bush gave a glimpse of his recovery process on Instagram Live, as he was running in the whirlpool at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
The recovery from an ACL tear can sometimes be 10 months. Being that Bush suffered his injury on Oct. 18, he should be back by the start of the 2021 regular season or at least training camp like he mentioned.
