Can the Steelers beat the Ravens?

If the Steelers are to beat the Ravens it will definitely be 2020 to be the year. This is, in our own “unbiased” opinion is the one of the best rivalries in sports. The Raven’s and Steelers have been going back in forth for years. Here lately, the Ravens have had our number. This year, it is going to be very different.

This year, we have Ben Roethlisberger on our roster. He will definitely be our x-factor for this game against the Ravens. We already know what our defense can do. It has already been demonstrated through this season but the Ravens will be a big test.

Ben Roethlisberger this season has been excellent. Minus last week’s second half performance. He has truly been the Steelers biggest difference maker since last year. Before last week, he had 11 Touchdowns and 1 Interception. If you’re a Steelers fan, that number is very unlike Ben Roethlisberger so will definitely take those type of numbers. However, last week was vintage Ben where he throws multiple interceptions a game.

Steelers fans are going to want to see this new Big Ben who doesn’t force the ball. Especially against this tough Ravens secondary. It wouldn’t surprise me if Big Ben struggles initially. However, we will see. That first half of Football in Tennessee was some of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Then again, anything is better than last year.

Final thoughts are that I think Ben Roethlisberger will give us the edge over Lamar Jackson. The Steelers defense will make his day really tough and they will get some big-clean hits on him and that will remind him of that the Steelers are the team to beat in the North. This Ravens team is good. However, I know we are better. It just has to show up on the field.
