For some reason, Antonio Brown had a meltdown on the sidelines in the third quarter against the Jets, and took off his equipment and ran off the field. It was a bizarre scene. A classic AB moment.
Here's the sideline view from a fan who was at MetLife Stadium.
Bruce Arians cut Brown immediately after the Bucs' win over the Jets. Arians said Brown "is no longer a Buc."
In October of 2020 after the Buccaneers signed Brown, Arians said, "He screws up one time, he’s gone.” Arians actually gave Brown a second chance after the fake vaccine card scam that led to a three-game suspension.
AB's career has to be over. I just can't see another team taking a chance on him. He's lost it. Former teammate Ike Taylor even thinks this is it for Brown. Taylor tweeted, "That was his last game playing in the NFL…"
Darren Rovell believes Brown's outburst had to do with incentives. It wouldn't be surprising at all if this was the case.
Is it still Ben Roethlisberger's fault? Wow, AB had a potential Hall of Fame career and he just completely threw it down the drain. What a shame.
