Bleacher Report says Kyle Trask would be the Best Fit for the Pittsburgh Steelers at Quarterback

Kyle Trask was looking like a top-tier prospect coming out of college into the NFL. That was until his SEC Championship blunder. Trask is still an intriguing prospect who often doesn't make many mistakes during his time in College. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the market for a quarterback whether it be free agency or the NFL draft in 2021 or 2022.

Bleacher Report recently wrote an article about the Best NFL fits for 2021 Draft's Top Quarterbacks. Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones were all off the board by the time they got to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They say the Pittsburgh Steelers are in a bind at the quarterback position with no clear avenue toward a successful transition from Ben Roethlisberger.

Colbert's tepid response to Ben during his recent interview confirmed the Steelers predicament. The Steelers have not put a long-term plan in place for the quarterback position and they could miss out on a top-5 quarterback in the 2021 NFL draft. Kevin Colbert would have to be extremely aggressive to land one of the top-5 quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL draft.

Florida's Kyle Trask is an interesting prospect coming into the NFL draft this year. He could be a second-round possibility for the Steelers. Trask can deliver the football but sometimes is an immobile pocket passer much like Ben Roethlisberger. Kyle did lead college football last season with 30 completions of 20 yards or more down-field per Pro Football Focus.

If Trask were to come into Pittsburgh the Steelers would be able to continue to spread the field with their talented wide-receivers. They can continue their quick passing completions and be a deep-threat down the field. Kyle Trask is certainly not the mobile quarterback the NFL is geared toward nowadays, but it would be an upgrade from Ben Roethlisberger.
