Ben: "It is my greatest honor to be a Pittsburgh Steeler and give my all for this organization."

Ben Roethlisberger has finally signed a new contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers today. Ben Roethlisberger ended up getting a $12.925 million dollar signing bonus with a $1.075 million dollar base salary. His 2021 contract is for $14 million dollars. The Steelers ended up saving $15.335 million dollars in cap space in 2021 thanks to Ben Roethlisberger's renegotiated contract.

Kevin Colbert says the Steelers are excited to have reached an agreement with Ben Roethlisberger and are excited to have him back on the Steelers in 2021. Colbert says the Steelers know Ben can still play at a high level and do special things for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their goal still remains the same in Pittsburgh. To put a Championship team on the field in 2021.

This will be Ben Roethlisberger's 18th season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and he is grateful to be at this stage of his career: "It is my greatest honor to be a Pittsburgh Steeler and give my all for this organization," said Roethlisberger, who will be entering his 18th season with the team. "I am grateful to be at this stage of my career and more than happy to adjust my contract in a way that best helps the team to address other players who are so vital to our success. I love this game and love to compete, and I believe in this team and my ability to deliver when called upon. It all starts with great preparation and I am ready to go."
