Steelers offensive tackle Zach Banner told the media today after an OTAs session that he's on track to be ready for training camp after suffering a season-ending ACL tear last year in Week 1 against the Giants. Banner also said that Devin Bush is progressing well after suffering a season-ending ACL tear last year and will be ready for camp.

Banner called Bush his "mini twin" and the two have been rehabbing together and pushing each other.

"He hasn't missed a day, I can't say anything bad about him ... we've both been here in Pittsburgh, we're both Yinzers."

Banner also said that's he's learning during his recovery from notes left over from when Heath Miller recovered from his ACL injury following the 2012 season, according to Christopher Carter of DK Pittsburgh Sports.

Miller suffered his ACL tear in Week 16 against the Bengals in 2012 and returned in Week 3 of the 2013 season, less than nine months when his injury occurred. Banner suffered his ACL injury in September last year, so he has a longer recovery period to be ready for training camp and should definitely be ready for Week 1 when the Steelers travel to Buffalo to play the Bills.
