Alan Faneca visits the Pro Football Hall of Fame to Prepare for Enshrinement in the Fall

Alan Faneca is a Hall of Famer. We can finally say it. He is well-deserving of this honor and I'm glad that another former Steeler is being recognized for it. Alan who spent the majority of his career in Pittsburgh was drafted in the First Round of the 1998 Draft. That was before I was born. Feel old yet? He was in Pittsburgh from 1998-2007.

Alan went on to win Super Bowl XL and win many honors along the way. Now, he's got the ultimate honor of being a Hall of Famer. Joining all the greats in Canton, Ohio. So, congrats to him and his family! Steeler Nation will be looking forward to August to see the enshrinement ceremony.

Alan, joined by his wife Julie toured the facility yesterday and got a good look at where he will spend eternity in Football glory. I'm sure that they also got all his measurements down so they could properly make his face into a bust.
