The Pittsburgh Steelers could be losing JuJu Smith-Schuster soon in the 2021 offseason. They still do have Dionate Johnson, Chase Claypool, and James Washington who are capable of filling in for JuJu Smith-Schuster, but they're young. It never hurts to bring in a Veteran to help show the young wide-receivers some direction. With that being said Former Steeler Emmanuel Sanders has been released from the Saints and one prominent Steelers writer feels the Steelers should place a call for him.
Ed Bouchette was recently asked if the Steelers should bring in a Veteran wide-receiver to serve as a mentor for their recent draft picks? Bouchette says he is more concerned about what the players do in football games rather than on Tik Tok. He says Claypool did pretty well during his rookie season. Ed also says it wouldn't hurt to bring in a veteran presence, but you have to remember a veteran would be new to the team and culture too. Bouchette says the Steelers should at least place a call to the agent for Emmanuel Sanders, who was cut last week by the Saints. He feels Sanders still has something to offer.
