A Look Ahead at the Eagles

Guthrie Rasmussen

Coming off their bye, the Eagles come to Pittsburgh where the Steelers face Carson Wentz, who is very talented and is seeming to have some issues this year with protection and keeping control of the ball. In Week 3, the Eagles played Joe Burrow and the Bengals and they didn’t do too hot. Carson Wentz threw for one touchdown and two interceptions. The game went to overtime and nobody ended up winning, It was a tie. Against the Bengals. That’s not very good.

Behind Wentz, they have the rookie out of Oklahoma, Jalen Hurts, who was a Heisman Finalist this last year who is seeming to get closer and closer to taking over each week. Which this would make for a really interesting story for the Eagles.

People to watch out for when the Steelers play the Eagles are first and foremost the talented Tight-End Zach Ertz and Greg Ward Jr. who had a strong day against the Bengals catching eight balls for seventy-two yards. Other than that, there isn’t much to say. We will get you more information on the rest of the team after their game against the 49ers.

The Steelers will be coming off their “bye week” so hopefully there isn’t too much rust. This Eagles team has a very strong chance of coming into Pittsburgh winless. So, on paper, this is a game that should very much be won by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
