I write this in pain, I really like JuJu on our team. I just wanted to explore potential replacements if the Steelers aren't able to retain him. I'm hoping this doesn't happen. However, it might happen and the Steelers will need another player for depth in the position.
Marvin Jones 31- He has been formally with Lions and Bengals. He's a good big bodied player that could potentially fill the void left by JuJu. Last year, he had nearly 1,000 yards and 9 touchdowns. He's getting up there in age, so I would make sure to get him for a good deal if the opportunity presented itself.
TY Hilton 32- Formally with the Colts, he has been off and on the injury list. However, don't forget how good this guy can be. Like Marvin, he's pretty up there in age but I still think he can be a difference maker for the Steelers if signed at the right price. Anything too inflated would not be worth it. His market value might just be too high for the Steelers to even consider. However, if he comes on a short deal under 5 million the Steelers might just want to see if they can bring him on if JuJu departs in FA.
Rashad Higgins 26- He's been with the Browns as of late, he's a very talented receiver who could be looking for a fresh start elsewhere and at the age of 26, the Steelers could potentially give him a look on a smaller prove-it deal. However, would he want to come to a rival of the Browns? Maybe not. However, he's very talented and could fit in nicely with the Steelers.
Antonio Brown 33- Just kidding.
